Donald "Don" Ranos Retired CFD

Age 86, late of St. Joe MI/North Fort Myers FL and formerly of Hegewisch, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022, in North Fort Myers FL. Father of Donald G. (Diane), Richard (Carol), and George (Lynn). Grandfather of Kevin (Karen), Gary (Toni), Pam (Jake) Horbach, Kim (Greg) Brown, Ken (Deb), Sheri (Jason) Highland, and David. Great Grandfather of 13 and Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents John and Dorothy, and brothers Al, John, and Vince. Don was a retired Chicago Fire Department Lieutenant who served the City of Chicago proudly for 41 years. He was also an avid boater and motorcycle rider.
