Tony Pobereyko

Age 93, late of Hegewisch, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015. He is survived by Dorothie, his wife of 73 years and their four children: Bettianne and Richard Hackett, daughter Emily; Ruth and David Lord, daughter Lana and Jason Pekoske, sons Jackson and Evan; Janet and Paul Sharko, daughters Amanda and Cecily and Tom Buehler, daughters Heidi and Sarah; and Paul and Karen Pobereyko, sons Matt and Danny; sister Sophie Wojciechowski, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents and two brothers.

Veteran of World War II, lieutenant in the Army Air Corps, bombardier navigator in the 57th Bomb Wing and retired electrician of IBEW Local 134.
