Steve Lustek

Age 94, late of Hegewisch, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015. Wonderful father of Sharon (Robert) Bruzek. Kind uncle of Joann Stash, Cynthia Swanson, Christine (Corey) Surrett and Darlene (David) Szczesniak. Loving great uncle to Steve, Jennifer, Heather and Brad. Preceded in death by wife Virginia Lustek (nee Flasinski); son Stephen Lustek and sisters: Josephine Stash and Mildred Bochenek. Special thanks to his caregiver Kia and nurses Alma and Marcia. Steve proudly and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army in World War II.  He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th degree, longtime member and usher at St. Columba Church.
