Ronald Nawracaj

Age 77, late of Hegewisch, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018. Beloved husband of Irene Nawracaj (nee Stavrakakes). Loving father of Robert Winkiel. Proud grandfather of Charlene (Earl) Goodin and Robert J. (Danica) Winkiel. Devoted great grandfather of Cheyenne, Michael, Summer, Michael, Serena and Robby. Dedicated great grandfather of Isabella and Daniel. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Kind cousin of Geraldine (Eugene) Krolak. Cherished sister-in-law of Pat Stavrakakes-Majewski. Preceded in death by parents: Ted and Freida Nawracaj.

Ronald was a proud coach to the Little League, Hegewisch Bulldogs and St. Florian Blazers and a good friend to all.

Ronald’s wife of 57 years, Irene Nawracaj, and son, Robert M. Winkiel, would like to extend their heartwarming thank you to the pallbearers, family and friends whose prayers, masses, gifts, flowers and the many kinds words spoken to them.  These memories will remain in their hearts forever.
