He is survived by his loving children: Wendy Triplett, James (Pat) Highland, Tom (Rachel) Highland, Richard Highland, Ed (Gloria) Cote, Donna (Ken) Tsikurios, and Renee (Don) Kaczmarzewski. Roger took immense pride in being a grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle to many, embracing each role with warmth and dedication. His family was his greatest treasure, and he nurtured their relationships with kindness and compassion.
As a kind brother, Roger will be deeply missed by David (Mary) Highland and Pamela Melko (John Jr). His bond with his siblings was a source of strength and companionship throughout his life.
Roger was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary D. Highland (nee Kovacek), whose companionship colored his life with happiness. The love they shared was palpable and continues to resonate in the hearts of those who knew them. He was also predeceased by his parents, Oscar and LaVerne Highland and his brother, James (Linda) Highland, whose memories will forever be etched in the hearts of his family.
