Mario is survived by his beloved wife Josephine Pacheco (nee Hnatusko), who stood by him through all of life's seasons. Their bond, enriched by years of companionship, stands as a testament to their love. He is also cherished by his children Natasha (Matthew Poirier) Pacheco and Michael A. Pacheco. The legacy of his caring and nurturing spirit shines brightly through his grandchildren: Ava, Aidan, Ashton, and Avianna, who will carry forth his values and memories. Mario is lovingly remembered by his siblings: Victoria (Armando) Olivo, Charles Pacheco, Alice (John) Villar, Gloria Alicea, Martin Pacheco and Toni (Robert) Considine, alongside numerous nieces and nephews who will hold onto their shared moments with him dearly.

In his passing, Mario reunites with those who predeceased him, including his parents, Charles and Mary, and his brother, Charles "Chuck." Each of them played a pivotal role in shaping the man he became, and their absence serves as a poignant reminder of the enduring ties of family.
