Age 88, late of Dyer, IN.  passed away Monday, May 16, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Oscar Frank Highland. Loving mother of James (Linda) Highland, Roger (Mary) Highland, David (Mary) Highland and Pamela Melko (John Jr). Caring grandmother of Joshua, Micah, Jessica, Wendy, James, Tom, Richard, Jason, Jeremy, Jeff and John. Proud great grandmother of 13. Devoted great great grandmother of six. Dear sister of 11. Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents George and Bertie Murray. Our mom, grandmother and great grandmother was a little lady with the biggest heart who went out of her way to make everyone feel at home with her southern hospitality and famous chicken and dumplings.
