Joseph W. Gasiecki

Age 85, lifelong resident of Hegewisch, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Natalie Gasiecki (nee Tyma). Loving father of Mike (Janna) Gasiecki and Bob (Jennifer) Gasiecki. Caring grandfather of Eric (Mandie) Gasiecki. Proud great grandfather of Cade Gasiecki and Cora Gasiecki. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents: Joseph and Helen Gasiecki; and siblings: Patricia (Merle) Drown and Robert (Cecelia) Gasiecki.

Joseph was a devoted husband and proud father and grandfather who worked very hard to support his family. He was a disciplinarian but was fun loving and had a sense of humor, always having a joke or funny story to tell during gatherings. Joseph loved to socialize with his family, friends and coworkers. He excelled in his field as an electrician and was an avid outdoorsmen, enjoying fishing and hunting which he passed down through the generations.
