Hind E. Mansour (nee Abbasy)

Hind E. Mansour, age 87, of Hammond, IN, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023. She was a beloved wife, a loving mother, a caring grandmother, and a dear aunt. 

Hind was born on June 25, 1936. She lived a life full of love and compassion, touching the hearts of everyone she encountered. Her warm smile and kind heart made her an exceptional person who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her devoted husband Foad Mansour. Together, they shared many beautiful memories and built a strong foundation of love and support throughout their years together. Foad will forever cherish the love they shared and the life they built as partners.

Hind was a loving mother to her children Nujoud Mansour, Raed Mansour, Norma Glass, and Ead Mansour Sr. Her children were her pride and joy, and she dedicated her life to providing them with endless love and support. Hind's nurturing spirit was evident in every aspect of her role as a mother. She was also a loving mother-in-law of Salina Mansour and Allan Kalemba.

As a grandmother, Hind played an active role in the lives of her grandchildren. She was a source of guidance and love for Laith Mansour, Alex Abasi, Amer Abasi, Lena Mansour, and Ead Mansour Jr. Hind's grandchildren were the center of her universe, and she delighted in watching them grow into remarkable individuals. She was also a caring grandmother-in-law of Courtnay Abasi.

Hind's family extends beyond her immediate relatives; she also had numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored. Her caring nature extended to all those around her.

Preceding Hind in death were her parents Ead and Fadieh Abbasy as well as her siblings. Although they are no longer with us physically, their memory will forever remain in our hearts.

Hind E. Mansour leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be fondly remembered for her unwavering faith and her ability to bring joy to the lives of others. Her memory will forever live on in our hearts.
