Donald Karas

Age 66, late of Hegewisch, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Karas (nee Ryan). Loving father of Sheri (Joseph) Anaya, Allison (Scott) Reese, Dustin Lhotka, Lillian Lhotka, Patrick Parker and Devin Parker. Proud grandfather of Claudia, Matthew, Vanessa, Haylie, Lexy, Drew, Jax, Christian, Aliya, Mackenzie, Riley, Penny and Luna. Caring brother of James (Mary) Karas, John (Peggy) Karas, Susan (Steve) Malone and Janice (Thomas) Hoffman. Kind godfather of Jessica Crooks, Ryan Malone and Jeffrey Pancer. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents: John and Phyllis (nee Hogan) Karas. Don was a proud member of the Wolf Lake Rod and Gun Club. He loved spending time with his family and friends, fishing, being with his grandchildren and watching them play sports.
