Alex "Leco" McCann

Age 84, late of Hegewisch, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019. Beloved husband of Nancy J. McCann (nee Luper). Loving father of Brian (Laura) McCann and David McCann. Proud grandfather of Brittany (Bjorn) Schantz, Breanna McCann, Andrew (Susan) McCann, Amanda McCann and Demetra Panousis. Proud great grandfather of Ella, Autumn, Harvest, Andrew Jr. and Brendan. Caring brother of James and Liz. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents: Harry and Esther and brothers: Harry and Bill.

Alex proudly and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a former president of Hegewisch Bulldogs.
